Dear Mr. Dunning,
I am the parent of two children that attend Paul Smith School, they are in the 6th grade and today I got information that the President presently in power is going to speak to our children via school on Sept.8 . This is unacceptable to me and my children will remain home that day.
I am a staunch Republican and naturally my children share my views. I am an online activist doing everything I possibly can to alert and warn people of the threat to American on it's way to becoming a Socialist Country. My children will take no part in any classroom discussions on this President, no seat work, no homework, nothing . I want them removed from the classroom for any such subject matter. My children will not be indoctrinated / brainwashed into accepting the liberal agenda. No global warming scare tactic videos, no reading material portraying it is okay to be gay, no discussion on abortions as a choice in a future pregnancy.
Last year during the election, my son was subjected to names such as Nazi and Racist because he did not 'vote' for Obama in the classroom election and because he is German. I made known my feelings to the school like I am doing so now. We do not have to have respect for somebody we do not believe in and I am teaching my children to stand up for what they believe.

Why does President Obama want to talk to our children on Sept. 8?
When I think about it, I guess he can teach them some very practical life lessons. This is what he has taught me by his example in his eight short months as president:
I am not responsible for anything bad that happens even if it happens on my watch.
I do not have to have money in my checking account to write checks.
I do not have to "play by the rules," as I can make them up as I go along.
I should expect others to do as I say, not as I do.
I should not waste my time listening to wise people or learning about proven methods that have been successful at various things every time they’re tried as I already have all the answers.
Wow! When I think of all that I have learned from President Obama, I guess he can teach all our children a great deal.
How did my letter to my childrens principal land here on this blog?
I wonder how the left would react if President Bush tried to pull something like this off to get support for the War in Iraq?
Can one only imagine President Bush talking to Americas children trying to build support for a war the liberals hate?
I can almost see the thorns rising from a liberals skull,charging into Washington,DC for his head. Denial of that would be a joke. President Bush use wiretapping in hopes he would prevent another attack on this country and the liberals went off. The man presently in the WH now owns the banking industry,the auto industry, will put America in debt for decades, he wants to own the Health care industry and deliver lesson plans to our children? This President ran his campaign as a moderate, the mainstream media failed to their jobs as journalist,they refused to tell the truth about this man to the people. Once the stimulus was passed the people opened their eyes little by little,then after the auto industry people pretty much figured out exactly what he was,a liberal Democrat pushing the US down a dark ugly road to Socialism.
The left cry foul expressing disgust and horror that the right wing Republicans are raising hell about Obama speaking to our children.
I find that hypocritical . Elementary and Middle School is no place for politics. It is the parents child to mold their children the way they see fit .
This is not Germany and he is not Hitler,he does not have what it takes to accomplish what Hitler did, he is inexperienced. He was a community organizer who carried a clipboard and a pen on the streets of Chicago. He has no leadership skills, he is in over his head. He woke the sleeping giant, the silent majority .He is David without the slingshot against the powerful Goliath.

The above gives a glimpse into the lack of ability of the Conservative brain to function on any level of cognitive thought. When President Reagan televised a speech to the American children. that was "Good clean Americanism" but when Obama tells children to work hard, have a positive attitude, set goals & struggle to achieve them, he is "pushing his Socialist agenda" These people know what they are talking about? Their Rush Head told them so.
I guess they prefer a President that sits like a deer in headlights in front of a class of small children as America is being attacked & states at a copy of MY Pet Goat.
